Welcome to The Kimbrose Club
The Kimbrose Club is a warm and welcoming place for older people with dementia and memory loss to meet with other people their own age. The club runs within a fun and friendly atmosphere, where members are encouraged to have active involvement in whatever activities are taking place at that time. These include everything from sing-alongs to beetle drive and bingo to exercise sessions. If there is something you are interested in and we don’t yet provide it, you need only ask and we’ll have a go!
We have a lively and dedicated team of highly trained staff to meet the unique needs of each individual; nothing is too much trouble. We are there to help you get the most out of your time with us and are also there for a quiet chat if you need one. We provide a good quality home cooked meal made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and cater for a wide range of dietary requirements. The local authority has awarded our kitchens a level five food hygiene rating so you can be guaranteed quality. Refreshments are provided throughout the day. Sessions at The Kimbrose Club are charged on an hourly, half-day and full-day basis and can be offered for one day per week or every day depending on your needs. We can also offer a flexible attendance pattern. Transport to and from your home may be available via our minibuses, although there is a limited number of spaces and extra facilities such as hair washing, hairdressers and chiropody, amongst other things, can also be arranged at a reasonable additional cost.
