Relief in Need Fund – Grant Aid

Relief in Need Fund - Grant Aid, helping those who are considered to be in need

At Gloucester Charities Trust, our team does more than provide accommodation and care for older people. We’re very proud to be able to offer support to qualifying residents of Gloucestershire through our Relief in Need Fund.

Who we help

Our fund helps those who are considered to be in need, hardship or distress and who are resident in the county of Gloucestershire. The support can go directly to an individual or through other organisations. In exceptional cases our Trustees may provide funding to someone who is otherwise eligible but who is resident immediately outside the catchment area.

How we help

Our range of support is varied. Help provided includes furniture and carpets; specialist equipment to people with particular health issues; starter packs for homeless people going into temporary accommodation, with items like cooking utensils, crockery and bedding; and we also support other charities to carry out their good works.
