The Kimbrose Club’s Old Boys Club enjoyed its first trip to the home of Gloucester Rugby, with plenty of memories, laughter and rugby history along the way.

We were warmly welcomed by Dave Rodgers, whose fantastic knowledge brought the club’s history to life. Looking through memorabilia while watching Gloucester’s 1972 Cup Final victory over Moseley made for a wonderful trip down memory lane.

Then it was time to explore the stadium. The rain certainly didn’t dampen our spirits, and the changing rooms were a particular favourite. With the chaps taking their places in the players’ seats, we wondered whether Gloucester Rugby might have found a few new signings! 😉

In the Lions Den, we explored a wonderful collection of photographs stretching back to the club’s earliest days, before returning to the lounge for a well-earned coffee and a good chat. Then it was back to Kimbrose in time for lunch.

A huge thank you to Gloucester Rugby and Dave Rodgers for such a warm welcome and a memorable morning. 👏🏉
