Grant Giving

Gloucester Charities Trust provides grants to help local people experiencing financial hardship, need or distress.

Through our Relief in Need and Gloucester District Nursing Charity funds, we can support eligible individuals and households with essential items, equipment and services that can make a practical difference to everyday life. Applications must be made or supported by a relevant professional, such as a social worker, support worker or other recognised practitioner.

Funding is limited and each application is considered individually against the relevant eligibility criteria.

" When you’re already struggling, something as simple as a broken washing machine can feel overwhelming. The support we received took a huge weight off our shoulders and made a real difference to everyday life. We’re incredibly grateful. Thank you so much for helping us when we really needed it. ”
